The Women in Prayer Ministry at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church is an Internet ministry that is open to any woman who prays. The purpose of the Women in Prayer (WIP) is to increase the spiritual growth of women in our parish through prayer. We pray for the needs of each other, the needs of our parish and our parishioners, and the needs in our community. Another purpose of our ministry is to be better disciples as Catholic Women and to help our parish of St. Gerard Majella become a seat of prayer. You can become a member of this ministry by contacting the Coordinators or the Church Office. We also provide prayer shawls to anyone in need of comfort or healing.

You can request prayer or a shawl through the Church Office or by putting your request in the wooden box on the table in the narthex of the church. Write down your prayer intention and leave it in the box and your intention will be added to our prayer list. All intentions are strictly confidential.
