According to the 2008 reflection, "Verbrum Domini" by Pope Benedict XVI, scripture reveals God. Scripture is embedded in the prayer and life of the Church, and praying with scripture, in community and alone, leads to proclaiming the Gospel. Adult Scripture Study brings members of St. Gerard's parish together for this purpose of prayer, study and life.
