Who We Are:
The Bereavement Ministry is an outreach program for members of our parish community who are experiencing personal loss through the death of a loved one or family member.

What We Do:
We provide comfort, support, prayers, and encouragement to those grieving family members and aid in the preparation of a reception in the parish hall following the funeral service. Through our Phone Tree, we communicate between family and church members about funeral services and receptions. We coordinate in providing the food for the reception and host the event in our parish hall. We attend funeral Masses and visitations for our deceased parishioners and family members. Interested volunteers are those who are blessed by providing supportive service and care to family members at a time of grief. Cooking, food presentation, teamwork, and compassion are needed gifts.

When We Serve:
Participants in this ministry are notified by the Pastor or church office, as needs arise in our parish family and this is sometimes an issue of short notice, understandably.
